The U.S Embassy Jakarta has a vacancy for Agriculture Cpecialist, FSN-10 (Rp. 235,962,543 per annum full performance starting salary) in the office of Agriculture Affairs.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The primary function of this position is to develop strategy and advise the U.S Head of Section for the Office Of Agriculture Affairs, as well as other U.S officials, on all issues pertaining to agricultural trade policy and market access or U.S agriculture imports. Major functions also include reporting on market access issues and the complex and expanding Indonesian market for agricultural products.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

All Applicants must address each selection criterion detailes below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
  1. At least Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural or Business Administration is required.
  2. Must have at least five years of progressively responsible experience in agriculture, agriculture trade, agriculture economic research or market sector survey and analysis.
  3. Level 4 (Fluent) in speaking/reading/writing in english and Bahasa Indonesia are required. Language Proficiency will be tested. If you have taken a TOEIC or TOEFL test administered by ETS within 6 months, please attach the certificate.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of both Indonesian and U.S agricultural trade policies; develop reports on a full range of trade policy issues for publik distribution. Process a complete understanding of the Indonesian agricultural production, supply, and demand situation for the full range of domestic and imported commodities.
